ASSISTANT COUNTY ATTORNEY

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Cook Supervisor, responsible for assisting with preparing food in accordance with standardized recipes, planned menus, and special diet orders.
 
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
·         Maintains high standards of sanitation in food handling, storage, and the work environment.
·         Set-up and keep stocked Staff Dining Deli/Salad Bar and Beverages.
·         Sees that supplies are obtained from storage areas prior to meal production.  Uses only approved substitutions.
·         Prepares or directs the preparation of all food served, following standard recipes and special diet orders.  Plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that quality, temperature and appearance of food is preserved.
·         May direct and assist in daily and scheduled cleaning duties of the department.  Sees that department complies with established sanitary standards.
·         Monitor Inmate Tray line to insure portion and special diet accuracy.
·         Monitors Inmate Kitchen Work Crews including Knife Cabinet sign in/out and Inmate Restroom check 3 times daily.
 
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·         Maintains good customer service values.
·         Assists in maintaining good public relations.
·         Performs other related duties as required.
 
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Cheshire County’s policies and applicable laws.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the charge nurse, assists with routine prescribed medication administration and documentation in accordance with established nursing standards, and the policies, procedures, and practices of this facility.  Administers PRN medications upon the instruction of the delegating licensed nurse.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
·         Receive report at the beginning of shift with nurses. 
·         Prepare, administer and chart oral, topical, suppository, nasal, ocular, and otc medications, as prescribed by the physician, and as directed by the delegating licensed nurse through shift assignment and Medication Administration Record (MAR).
·         Document administration on the MAR.
·         Administer PRN medications as prescribed by the physician, only as directed by the delegating licensed nurse. Delegating licensed nurse must be available to monitor the effects on the resident.  Documents same on MAR.

·         Organizes and conducts resident’s speech-language program to facilitate rehabilitation or habilitation of a resident.

·         Selects rehabilitative and therapeutic treatment based on evaluations; determines a treatment program appropriate for the resident. 
·         Works closely with Dietary and Occupational Therapy staff on program recommendations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages and coordinates the clinical and treatment services for the Cheshire County Drug Court. 
Supervises treatment staff and develops and implements treatment plans, clinical recommendations,
and delivery of evidence-based curriculums (T4C, CBI, MRT, MI, etc.). 
•    Assesses program needs and recommends changes to enhance and increase effectiveness
•    Conducts clinical evaluations and documentation for referrals and assigns caseloads to self
and treatment staff under his/her supervision
•    Oversees and evaluates contracted treatment professionals in the case management and treatment of emotional, cognitive, developmental, behavioral and interpersonal disorders, illnesses and substance use disorders. 
•    Conducts individual and group treatment sessions
•    Attends weekly treatment staffings, court appearances and treatment team meetings
•    Adheres /complies with established Federal, State, and local standards and guidelines, relating to participant confidentiality, release of criminal history information, and program policies and procedures
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:  Master’s degree in Public or Judicial Administration, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or related field preferred. MLADC and LCMHC or LICSW licensure required. A minimum of three years of experience working in the criminal justice system, social work, therapeutic evaluation or related field.  Direct experience working within the drug court model is preferred. Preference given to applicants who are certified in Thinking for a Change, Cognitive Behavioral Intervention (UCI), Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety,  and Moral Reconation Therapy.
