Vacation Pay

0 to 5 years of service = 2 weeks per year *
5 to 10 years of service = 3 weeks per year
over 10 years of service = 4 weeks per year

Holiday Pay

10 paid holidays as designated yearly by the County Commissioners

Sick Pay

Accumulates at a rate of 2 weeks per year *

Shift Differential Pay

3 pm to 11 pm = $1.00

11 pm to 7 am = $1.20

weekends = $1.20

Bereavement Pay

3 days for immediate family or significant other

Health Insurance***

For employees working 30 or more hours, County pays 82-84%, employee pays 16-18%***
Employee - $66.40 bi-monthly = $132.80 monthly
Employee/Spouse - $140.99 bi-monthly = $281.98 monthly
Employee/Child(ren) - $105.76 bi-monthly = $211.52 monthly
Family - $162.89 bi-monthly = $325.78 monthly

Dental Insurance ***

Employees working 30 or more hours, County pays a portion, employee pays a portion
Employee - $5.04 bi-monthly = $10.08 monthly
Employee/Spouse - $16.92 bi-monthly = $33.84 monthly
Employee/Child(ren) - $18.36 bi-monthly = $36.72 monthly
Family - $29.50 bi-monthly = $59.00 monthly

Complementary Medicine

Employees enrolled in the County Health Plan, eleigble for up to $350.00 per calendar year after $20.00 co-payment per visit

Jury Duty

County pays the difference in wages

Life Insurance**

Employees working 30 or more hours, $5,000 free for employee, with option to purchase additional amount

Meals

Cheshire County provides meals free of charge to all employees in Westmoreland

Military Leave of Absence

County pays the difference in base wages, less 5% if activated - for a maximum of 5 years.

Perfect Attendance Bonus*

Quarterly incentives for perfect attendance

Short Term Disability**

No cost to employees working 30 or more hours, with option to purchase long term disability

State Retirement

Employees working 35 or more hours must participate. Employees 5% pre-tax contribution, 10 year retirement
Corrections, Sheriffs dept. 9.3% pre-tax contribution, 20 year retirement
Service time will be carried over from any NH state wide agency participating in the program.

Tuition Reimbursement

Up to $2,700 per year for courses meeting selected criteria

Deferred Compensation

All full time employees may put money into this type of retirement program pre-tax.

Direct Deposit

Employees may opt to have their paycheck deposited into a bank or banks of their choice.

No cost to employees, TB & flu shots available. Hepatitis B vaccine offered free of charge to all at risk employees.
