Major Clark, Director of Objective Jail Classification

Since December 2000 Major Clark has been with the Cheshire County Department of Corrections.  He has worked his way up through the ranks, starting as a Line Officer and with his last role being a Shift Supervisor.

Major Clark served four years in the United States Marine Corps station in Camp Lejeune NC serving in 2nd Anglico.  He continued his military career by joining the N.H. Army National Guard, which he retired from in 1999.  Kevin worked many years in the glass industry working both on the retail and wholesale sides.

As the Director of Objective Jail Classification, Major Clark is responsible for placing inmates in the least restrictive housing while maintaining the safety and security of the institute.  Through the classification process, Major Clark also makes referrals to the programs and mental health departments.

Major Clark is working towards developing a Re-entry Plan for inmates close to release at the Cheshire County Jail.  He is committed to and believes in making a difference in the offender’s lives preventing recidivism.
