Community Power: What Could Community Choice Aggregation Look Like in our Region? October 29 at 10:00 AM at County Hall, 12 Court Street, Keene, NH

Posted on November 20, 2019

The adoption of NH SB-286 in 2019 offers a number of exciting energy possibilities for our region and our communities. There are two upcoming presentations to learn about this: on October 29 at 10:00 AM at County Hall, 12 Court Street, Keene, NH and on November 4 at 6:00 PM at the Marlborough Community House, Henry Herndon of Clean Energy NH will offer an explanation of the enabling legislation and how it could be implemented locally. Our SW NH communities can cooperate on implementation, with potential for cost-savings, energy-efficiency, and development of local renewable energy sources.

The NH Association of Counties states: “The services that counties and municipalities could provide include: the supply of electric power, demand-side management, conservation, meter reading, customer service, other related services and operation of energy efficiency and clean energy districts.”
